Basement Mail – Leopard

Dear Basement Friends,

We are back! Happy 2012. We missed you.
Down at The Basement we are super excited to have this years first world premiere. It’s a brand new show called Leopard and it’s going to be dangerous!
Opening tonight and running till Saturday, don’t miss this sexy, twisted theatre piece written by emerging playwright Shoshana Mc Callum . The tagline is ‘Tearing you open from heart to groin.’ Ouch.

8pm

31 January – 4 February

“WE HOPE IT MEANS MORE THAN JUST F**KING AND LYING”

Leopard examines the lives of five young people all interconnected by sex, desire, and loss, as it challenges the laws of “finders keepers”, reality vs morality, and questions our obligation to love, over our instincts to live.
A new play by Shoshana McCallum, Leopard turns the spotlight on human nature, as it pieces together a twisted jigsaw puzzle of dubious perceptions, infidelity, and modern day disharmony amidst a lovelorn urban jungle.

Directed by Chris Neels (Thes Are the Skeletons of Us)
